In order to further strengthen the Group Tax team, PANDORA is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to focus on tax compliance, tax projects and tax process optimization. The position is located at newly built headquarter at Havneholmen consecrated in August 2016. Group Tax is part of the Corporate Finance organization and has the overall responsibility for the overall management of direct and indirect taxes in PANDORA. Group Tax is involved in M&A transactions, asset transfers, restructuring, tax due diligence, corporate legal setups, transfer pricing, tax reporting, financing, tax audits etc.

Including Head of Group Tax, the department consists of four highly competent employees with extensive tax background and experience working with dedication, ambitions and commitment to the success of the team and PANDORA. In addition, there is a regional tax function, mainly working with regional / local tax reporting, tax returns and other local tax issues, which reports in dotted line to Head of Group Tax. A Shared Service Center in Poland prepares tax returns for subsidiaries in EMEA. Financial and tax reporting is made in Hyperion HFM.

Key Responsibilities:
As Tax Manager you will work in close cooperation with different parts of the organization on tax reporting and various projects with a keen focus on tax process optimization. The position reports to Head of Group Tax who reports to Vice President, Corporate Finance. Internally you work in close collaboration with the Group Finance organization, Regional tax functions, Legal, Shared Service Center in Poland and senior management. Externally you work closely with PANDORA´s auditing company, tax advisors and tax authorities in Denmark and abroad. The main responsibilities and tasks of the position will include:


·       Tax accounting and reporting under IFRS

·       Preparing Danish tax returns and joint taxation

·       Controlling of tax reporting and tax returns for PANDORA´s subsidiaries made by Regional tax function

·       Effective tax rate management

·       Tax forecast

·       Tax risk management including system development

·       Country-by-country reporting implementation

·       Optimization of tax processes

·       Support tax consideration on financing, funds flow management etc.

·       Estimating tax consequences of planned and implemented transactions

·       Manage tax audits

·       Assisting with management reporting

·       Ad hoc tax related projects, including M&A

The job is expected to entail approximately 5-20 days of travelling annually, mainly to Poland, Germany, USA and Thailand.

Professional and personal competencies:
To be successful in the position some of the most important qualifications of the ideal candidate are:

·       Master’s degree within e.g. finance, tax or law as e.g. Cand.merc.aud, Cand.merc.jur, Cand.jur, Master in Tax or similar

·       At least 5 years of experience, gladly more, within corporate tax and tax compliance from an accounting firm, an inhouse tax department or tax authorities

·       A good understanding of accounting principles and solid data analysis skills

·       An advanced Microsoft Office user, in particular Excel

·       Speak and write Danish and English fluently and you have preferably worked in an international environment

As a person, you have a structured and analytical working style with a sense of detail in order to make commercial decisions based on analysis of available data. Creating structure and optimizing processes is an integrated part of how you work. You feel comfortable with working independently, yet still in a team-oriented manner, and taking responsibility. Good interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude enables you to share your tax experience and provide advice for management. Finally, you have a resilient and robust personality thriving in a busy, growth oriented and international environment.
