Headquartered in Malmö, ArjoHuntleigh - a part of Getinge Group, has more than 4.500 employees worldwide and annual revenues exceeding 7 billion SEK. To further strengthen Group Finance and Controlling ArjoHuntleigh is now looking for an independent and driven Group Controller with experience, further potential and ambitions to join the Group Controlling team. You will be part of a Group Controlling team with 2 Controllers and you will report to the Vice President for Group Controlling.

The position

In this position, you will play a key part in the consolidation, reporting and development of the company’s financial reporting and controlling environment. The Group Controller position covers mainly financial controlling but also business controlling aspects and offers a great opportunity to grow and develop within a global and market leading medical device company. Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Perform financial controlling and reporting the financial statements of ArjoHuntleigh

• Responsible for the groups internal profit elimination process

• Ensure ArjoHuntleigh region and units follow IFRS and Group Corporate Manual 

• Perform cost analysis and balance sheet reviews and follow up on deviations

• Participate in process optimization projects

• Participate in developing Managements reports and KPI’s

• Consolidate budget and forecast input from regions and local entities

• Participate in developing Cognos BI solution for ArjoHuntleigh 

• Participate in internal audit visits to the groups regions and entities

• A central position linking all the local finance units together through the controller team

• Consolidation system expert guiding ArjoHuntleigh finance teams

• Provide clear and insightful finance transparency for business decisions

The job is mainly office based (Malmö) but occasional National and International travel is expected, most likely approximately 10-15 days per year.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate has a background as Auditor and after that approximately 2-5 years experience from a controlling position in an international environment. Your key characteristics include:

A Master’s degree or equivalent in business or finance, preferably majoring in auditing

Most likely auditing experience from a Big 4 audting company

Significant relevant and progressing financial experience 

Experience with reporting and financial statements in accordance with IFRS

Experience with internal control activities

Consolidation System experience, preferably with Cognos

Advanced user of Excel and experience of dealing with big data and creating management reports

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel

Fluent in spoken and written English

As a person you have excellent analytical skills and a strong passion for financial data, controlling and reporting. An analytical and detail-oriented mindset, without losing the helicopter view over the overall deliverables is also characteristic for you. You are highly self-driven, flexible and task-oriented and put pride in delivering high quality results on time. Further, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with an ability to establish healthy relations with our stakeholders. It is also important that you have a challenging attitude and an ability to stand up for your opinions. Due to the dynamic and broad scope of the role, it is crucial that you have a good ability to prioritize and to work independently under tight deadlines.
