Nilfisk will build, lead and disrupt the industry of professional cleaning equipment. The drivers guide a number of significant transformations which will be implemented across the organization over the coming years. As a recently listed company you will enter the Financial Reporting & Controls team, part of Group Finance, where transformation is also taking place and therefore Nilfisk is seeking a Senior Group Financial Controller. The position can be a career step to e.g. Finance Manager for a region or other senior finance positions. The team will count 6-7 dynamic and experienced employees with a good team-spirit, collaboration and support of each other. Both strong performance and having a good laugh at work is emphasized in an informal working environment with close support and interaction with key stakeholders.

During 2018 new and experienced managers has joined the Finance Management team. Therefore, the Group Finance strategy is being redefined. The team is also expected to develop into an even more consulting role supporting business entities to succeed – this in order to take Group Finance to its next level. Part of this is also optimizing and transforming financial processes and organization, further developing internal control framework, implementing new financial support systems as well as other initiatives. You will play a key role in this transformation and can influence the agenda and decisions made. Reporting is in accordance with IFRS and consolidation system is currently HFM soon to be replaced with OneStream.


Financial Controlling of designated business units, and development of Financial Reporting & Control

The Financial Reporting & Controls team is responsible for the financial reporting and controlling of all business units globally, Financial Consolidation and Performance Systems, M&A support and many ad hoc tasks. The team reports to a newly hired Head of Financial Reporting & Controls. The position opens up for working with financial reporting and controlling in a newly listed truly global company covering the full value chain from R&D over production to sales. You will act as financial partner to a number of reporting entities working closely with regional Finance Managers and top management and as part of the team being responsible for the consolidated financial reporting. Your responsibilities and tasks include:


·       Controlling of monthly financial reporting from designated business units including explanation of financial figures and follow up on deviations

·       Act as financial business partner for reporting entities in ensuring correct IFRS reporting and understanding of financial guidelines and policies

·       Internal controls, controller visits and contact to auditors

·       Consolidation of financial reporting and preparation of statutory reports and annual reports

·       Develop and improve financial reporting- and control processes, procedures and systems – likely including participation in the implementation of OneStream

·       M&A support, ad hoc finance tasks and participation in finance transformation projects


Location of the position is Nilfisk headquarter in Brøndby. To accommodate a close relationship with Finance Managers around the world you get an opportunity to travel approx. 20 days a year.


Financial Controller and / or Big 4 Auditor with strong business acumen ready for next career step

As Senior Group Financial Controller you possess the following experience and qualifications:


·       M.Sc. in Business Administration Economics and Auditing (Cand.merc.aud) or similar

·       Solid professional experience either as an Auditor from one of the big auditing firms working with large international companies and / or as Group Financial Controller in an international company

·       Strong skills in accounting / financial controlling and ability to analyze financial reports

·       Experience with consolidated financial statements and external financial reporting

·       Understanding of and experience with IFRS accounting principles

·       Experience with internal controls

·       Good Excel skills and preferably user of consolidation tools as HFM, OneStream etc.

·       Fluency in English, verbally and in writing
