Lundbeck offers a challenging position as Specialist for Compensation & Benefits, which is part of the HR department consisting of app. 30 highly skilled and committed employees working within HR Partnering, Talent Management, Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefits. HR has a keen focus on providing value adding business support to help Lundbeck achieve its strategic goals.

You will be part of the Compensation & Benefits team, which is responsible for driving and developing Lundbeck´s global Com & Ben strategy in order to support Lundbeck as a highly attractive place to work. Part of this is to promote and support a competitive pay for performance culture and to build a corporate transparent compensation & benefits structure with a global mindset to enhance mobility and fair treatment of employees across the organization.


Specifically you will be responsible for lifecycle management of executives in Lundbeck regarding contracts, Compensation and relocation. In relation to this you will work with executive remuneration (Vice President level and up) to secure a competitive total remuneration level for upper management; be responsible for employment and termination contracts of Executives and have global process ownership of Global Mobility where you management governance structures for assignments in Lundbeck. Subsequently, you will play a key role in promoting transparency and process efficiency transforming the Com & Ben function to be an even more strategic sparring partner for the organization.

You will work closely with many stakeholders across the organization mainly other HR teams, Finance, Legal, top management. Your position reports to Director for Compensation & Benefits. Key responsibility areas for the position are described below: 

·        Provide and manage executive employment contracts in cooperation with Legal

·        Preparation of Global Assignment contracts including approval process, salary    calculations and cost estimates

·        Secure communication of assignment processes and conditions to affiliates, line    managers and HR managers 

·        Job evaluation based on Mercer 

·       Handle the Long Term Incentive program

·       Contact  to external partners; relocation company, tax consultants, consultants, etc. and  responsible for the level of service / assistance needed from these partners

·       Ad hoc analysis and reporting

·       Part  of developing and implementing new HR processes within C&B, executive  remuneration and global mobility

Location of the position is in Lundbeck´s corporate headquarters based in Valby, Copenhagen. Due to the corporate responsibility of the position, travel activity is estimated to approximately 5-10 days a year.


As the ideal profile you have:

·        Academic credentials on a Master level in HR Management, Legal or related field

·       Preferably experience in working with executive contracts

·       International experience  in Com & Ben policy and processes

·       Preferably  experience with Global Mobility

·       Experience with  Mercer IPE which will be considered a clear advantage

·      General  knowledge of HR tools and models and in general good IT skills

·      Fluent in written and oral English
