At Novozymes Business Finance is responsible for finance business
partnering towards various divisional VP areas and business areas helping
business to drive performance, value creation and profitability in close
partnership with the global Division Leadership Teams. Finance business
partnering in Novozymes is truly mature and on a high level with very skilled,
ambitious and enthusiastic employees. ERP
and consolidation system is SAP and Business Finance and Corporate Finance
functions in Novozymes are well supported by Financial Service Center in India.
Finance Business Partner with CFO
mindset driving value creation and profitability
Novozymes is looking for a highly capable Finance Business Partner for one
of the divisional Business Finance teams to support Household Care &
Technical Industries which is the largest business area in terms of revenue. As
part of Business Finance, you will help empower people, enable decision making
and create the agility that will strengthen Novozymes’ competitive edge and
extend the reach of biological answers. You will be financially responsible for
a divisional VP area and be part of the VP leadership team. You will set the
financial agenda in the area and ensure that relevant financial input for
driving the strategic agenda and execution is brought to the table.
In essence, you take on a ‘CFO mindset’ and work very closely with people
from Sales, Marketing and Business Development – hence, you get the possibility
to interact with all parts of the organization and to translate financial
priorities into action, which is essential in this position. The position reports
to the Business Finance Director of the division but will have a dotted line to
the Vice President that you support. Responsibilities and activities are
broad-ranging and include:

Act as Business Partner and trusted advisor providing
financial sparring with the global Division Leadership team and to your
specific VP area
·
Business controlling mainly on a strategic and
tactical level for the area you support
·
Financial planning, own and
drive sales and cost budgets and forecasts for designated business area
·
Drive profitability
improvement programs, facilitating sales opportunity pipeline discussions,
analysis of new product development (R&D) pipeline and facilitation of the resource
prioritization process etc.

Business
reviews and evaluation of business cases
·
Providing
analytics on markets, customers, products etc.
·
Actively contributing to strategy development and ad
hoc finance- and business projects
·
Participate in the continuous development and
optimization of financial processes and tools
Location of the
position is Novozymes headquarter in Bagsværd. Estimated travel activity is 5-20
days a year.
Highly capable Finance Business Partner with Master’s
degree
As Finance Business
Partner you possess the following experience and qualifications:
·
A
Master’s degree in business administration, finance or economics (e.g.
Cand.merc.FIR, MAC, AEF, FSM, ASC, AUD or similar) with good grades
·
At
least 3-5 years of experience – gladly more – from a similar role (e.g. Finance
Business Partner / Business Controller role in a leading company) with a
proficient financial toolbox. With the right mindset you could also be
Financial Controller with the desire to join finance business partnering
·
Experience
with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and providing financial
business support
·
Excellent
Excel, PowerPoint and English skills are a must
You have a ‘CFO mindset', a commercial understanding and a passion for driving
business performance where you act as trusted advisor and challenge business in
a positive and pragmatic way. This is supported by a personality with a structured
and analytical problem-solving approach. You thrive working closely with people
and therefore you are proactive, outgoing and a team player with the ability to
build relationships with people at all levels of the organization. Finally, you
show persistence and get things done yet still being a good colleague and nice
to work with.

The compensation and benefits package will besides a fixed salary include bonus
and 11% company paid pension scheme.
