Ferring is offering an interesting position as Technician in the IMP department which is part of Global Pharmaceutical R&D. The department consisting of around 12 engaged employees is responsible for clinical trial supply, packaging and distribution on a global level. The IMP department is divided into two teams; one
ensures internal packing and distribution activities to trial supplies, while the other ensures the outsourced packing and distribution activities to trial supplies. Both teams consist of IMP Technicians, IMP Coordinators and an IMP Associate Director.

The position as IMP Technician, Global Clinical Supply In-House is responsible for
the packing and distribution activities related to internal packaged trial supplies, all in time and in compliance with regulations. The position reports to IMP Associate Director.

The essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Trial supply tasks as: planning; receipt of incoming goods; setup and preparation / print labels;       prepare and perform packaging; reference / retention samples; shipping; returns; destruction;         inventory and storage system; archiving

• Study related tasks throughout the full duration of allocated studies including collaboration with       relevant internal and external parties

• Securing that trial supplies and packaging materials are available on stock prior to packaging         (incl. purchasing and internal ordering)

• Creating, controlling and approving relevant documents concerning daily tasks e.g. deviation           handling

• Reviewing, updating and creating of relevant SOPs and documents

• Maintaining facilities and equipment

• Securing IT system Clinicopia as function platform for internal packaging and being an                     operational user of Clinicopia

• Support and backup for outsourced trial packaging tasks

• Working according to GMP, GDP, SOPs and internal safety regulations; and keeping updated         with relevant regulations and scientific GMP knowledge within the area

You are educated pharmacist or hold a B.sc. or equivalent within laboratory work. You have solid experience in pharmaceutical industry and profound knowledge of pharmaceutical and clinical development, including excellent understanding of GMP requirements for IMP´s and compliance. In addition you have hands on experience in packaging for clinical trials.

At the same time, you are a team player within a share responsibility frame, interpersonally savvy and flexible towards a changing environment. You contribute proactively to continuous improvements. You excel in planning, process management and have a drive for results. In addition you work well in a cross-cultural setting and have a keen customer focus. Finally, you are fluent in English.

Ferring Offers

An interesting IMP Technician position which entails a great deal of freedom and responsibility. On top of base salary, the position includes 12% company paid pension and bonus.
