Nilfisk will build, lead and disrupt the industry of professional cleaning
equipment. The growth strategy “Nilfisk Next” consists of three clearly defined

“Simplify and grow”. The drivers guide a number of significant transformations
which will be implemented across the organization over the coming years.

the vision of leading intelligent cleaning to make customers’ business
smarter.
As a recently listed company covering the full value chain from R&D
over production to sales, you will enter the Financial Planning & Analysis
(FP&A) team, part of Group Finance, where transformation is also taking
place and therefore Nilfisk is seeking a Senior Business Controller – a senior
position on Director level. Nilfisk FP&A focuses on expanding Business
Finance and Business Partnering, Management reporting, Financial planning,
Profitability analysis and Financial Performance / Analysis. The team consists
of 4 dedicated and highly skilled Business Controllers and one Business Analyst.
Nilfisk reporting is in accordance with IFRS, uses SAP as ERP system, SAP BW
and Hyperion HFM as consolidation system – soon to be replaced with OneStream.
Business Partner with top management exposure and business impact
As Sr. Business Controller, you will be connected to a Business Unit in
Nilfisk, hence with a big impact on profitability, value creation and business
decisions. You will be a close business ally in all financial matters, projects,
business cases development and follow-up, as well as making business analysis
and recommendations regarding impact. Hence, your role is very “big on impact”
with significant exposure in the organization, including CFO exposure. The
position reports to Senior Vice President, FP&A who reports to CFO. Your
main responsibilities will be:

Business controlling and financial management
reporting for your designated Business Unit and Group level
·
Develop and enhance profitability reporting, both analyses
and support the organization in an analytical approach
·
Drive monthly Financial and CapEx reporting, Working
Capital Performance process including early indication process / review, gap
analysis and monthly presentations
·
Shared
ownership for the budgeting and forecasting process and financial planning
·
Provide
financial analysis and support for sound business decisions, including variance
and gap analysis
·
Work closely
with the business to continuously identify potential for cost efficiency and
business improvement opportunities
·
Act as
a strong sparring partner to Head of FP&A and management in your designated
Business Unit
·
Support target attainment, i.e., financial early
warnings, follow up impact of initiatives and implementation of own initiatives
·
Participation in Group projects and in newly
established Finance Business Partner Community with focus on sharing knowledge
and best practice
·
Continuous development and optimization of FP&A
team processes, procedures, reports, etc.
Location
of the position is Nilfisk headquarter in Brøndby.
Travel
activity in the job is estimated to 10-15 days a year due to the global
activities.
Experienced Senior Business
Controller with business acumen
As
Senior Business Controller on Director level you possess the following
experience and qualifications:
·
Education in Finance,
Economics or similar, e.g. Cand.merc.AUD / FIR / MAC / AEF, Cand.polit / oecon
etc.
·
Possibly some years of
experience from a renowned auditing firm gladly working with large
international companies
·
5-8+ - gladly more – years of
professional controlling experience from an international company. With heavy
business controlling or Finance Manager background, experience from an auditing
company is not a must
·
Knowledge of Hyperion and SAP
is a clear plus
·
User experience of Excel and
PowerPoint at an expert level – knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage
·
Fluent in English in speaking
and in writing
As
the right candidate you first and foremost possess great business understanding
in a global context. You have strong analytical and numerical abilities and on
top a structured, reliable personality supporting you in planning, executing
and prioritizing activities. You pay attention to detail as well keeping focus
on the high level and acknowledge that follow-up is needed for success, and
strive to continuously improve performance. As a proactive self-starter, you
have a good drive, “can run with a one-liner”, stay focused and prioritize in
order to get the job done while keeping calm. Strong interpersonal- and
communication skills enables you to build relations and challenge business in a
positive and pragmatic and collaborative way.
