Rambøll Support Organisation (RSO) is a staff function delivering support to the Rambøll Group within e.g. HR, Finance and IT. Within RSO the IT PMO and Enterprise Architecture team is located. The team is responsible for Project Portfolio Management, Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management and SharePoint Competence Center. It is a passionate team with a strong collaboration culture working out of the Nordic countries, UK, Germany, US and India.
Innovation & digitalization is core to Rambøll´s business strategy there are many initiatives that aim to digitalize the way of working, collaborating and interacting internally and with external clients. All with the intention to create more value and to deliver better and faster results to clients. The IT PMO and Enterprise Architecture team manages a diverse and exciting project portfolio of 60-90 new projects a year across geographies and markets.
The IT- and application landscape consists of mainly standard applications (cloud and on-premise) and standard platforms (e.g. SharePoint, both on-premise and in the cloud) and a tight integration based on BizTalk. SharePoint is applied for intranet, Sitecore for web / portal, Maconomy as ERP system, Workday as HR system and in addition collaboration platforms, engineering tools as CAD, GIS etc. In total 100+ applications and collaboration platforms. The IT architecture is Togaf inspired with a current maturity on a medium level.
Responsibilities
as Enterprise Architect with focus on Innovation & Digitalization
As Enterprise Architect with focus on Innovation & Digitalization you will be one of two Enterprise Architects (the other a Lead Enterprise Architect) working closely together and in a setup where you will have a significant impact and influence. Your key focus will be to engage in IT-based business projects and architecture with a specific focus on SharePoint.
You will evaluate business requests against our current application landscape and you will identify and assess alternative solutions in close dialogue with business stakeholders. You will be involved in application portfolio management, in developing the way of working and in how business enabling IT solutions are improved. Your core responsibilities include:
· Play an active role in managing, development and maintenance of Rambøll´s application portfolio
· Assess new business needs and help shape projects that can realize business intentions
· Assess requests regarding applications, platforms and systems
· Engage in digitalization projects to define the architecture of new / updated solutions
· Help drive and implement digitalization strategy through actual business-driven projects and initiatives
· Contribute to the continuous development of PMO and EA processes and -tools
· Collaboration with Project Managers, Developers and project team members in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, Germany, USA and India
The position is located at the Rambøll Head office in Ørestad, DK. Estimated travel activity is 5-15 days per year making a good work-life balance possible.
Strong
IT Architect profile with focus on SharePoint and Digitalization
You have a proven track record from a variety of architecture roles most likely both as solution architect and in broader roles as lead or Enterprise Architect.Key qualifications:
· Relevant Master’s degree (Cand.merc.Dat / IT, M.Sc. Data Science, Engineer or similar)
· Relevant Enterprise architecture training / certifications, e.g. Togaf
· 5-10 years of experience – or more – from a range of architect / EA roles and IT-based business projects
· Experience with SharePoint which plays a major part in the IT and application landscape
· Fluent in English in speaking and in writing, Danish is considered an advantage
As a person you have an excellent general business
understanding enabling you to bridge business and IT. This, with the purpose to
facilitate an investigative inquiry with business stakeholders to analyze and
deduct how best to support new business needs and requirements with the
intention of optimizing the business value of IT solutions.
You have an
analytical mindset, structured approach, a sense of urgency and understand what
it takes to achieve results. Being a team player, sharing knowledge and taking
initiative is natural for you. Finally, you are good at building relations,
thriving and confident in working with stakeholders at all levels and engaging
in projects across a global and multicultural organization of dedicated professionals.
